In fact, Orion Energy Systems had a pretty successful IPO last year based essentially on that product alone. That's probably the only IPO of a traditional light fixture manufacturer in the last twenty years. Having said that, LED lighting is now addressing the same space. I do have one secret for getting around that cost; go to an electrical wholesale warehouse. My husband works at one and they sell the compacts for more like $4 or $5 each.
